Diverse schemes are tailored to individual needs and budgets and can cover hospitalization at the hospital or clinic of your choice, outpatient consultations and medications as well as home nursing.

Pharmacies are found in all towns and cities, and the availability of over the counter medicines is comparable to the UK. In the cities there are always a few pharmacies that remain open throughout the night and at weekends. The details are usually printed in local newspapers as they work on a rotating basis.
